    The villa is on Booking.com and MakeMyTrip, and a friend of a past guest books on WhatsApp. One calendar isn't updated, and two families drive up for the same long weekend. A hotel can move someone to another room. A villa has no other room.

    Guests who found you on Instagram, or stayed last year, book and pay on your own booking page, and the booking lands on the same chart. The page shows the whole villa as one stay, with its bedrooms, bathrooms and every bed, and takes a search for a group of up to 20. If a weekend needs two nights, it says so and offers the two-night stay in one tap. Share the link on WhatsApp instead of sending photos and prices one message at a time.

Families and groups of friends from the nearest city book the whole villa for two or three nights, often weeks ahead. A one-night booking for the Saturday is the one that leaves Friday empty.

    Send your caretaker or cook a link to today's bookings: who arrives, who's staying and who leaves. It opens with a 4-digit PIN, with no login, and shows no phone numbers or prices.

    Free dates you can share.

    Agents and past guests ask, 'Is it free on the 14th?' Send them a link to your availability instead, behind the same kind of PIN. It shows what's free, never a price or a guest's name.

    Extra guests, priced.

    Set the price for the base group and a charge for each extra adult and child, so a bigger group pays for every guest, up to the most the villa sleeps.

    Weekend and season prices.

    A villa night above ₹7,500 is taxed at 18%, not 5%. Two nights at ₹15,000, for example, come to ₹30,000, plus ₹2,700 CGST and ₹2,700 SGST: ₹35,400. SutraStack picks the rate from each night’s price.

    Can I run it from my phone?

    Yes, in the phone's browser, with nothing to install. It needs an internet connection; there is no offline mode.

  • A hotel sells rooms; a villa often sells the whole house, and sometimes its rooms one by one. Vacation rental software has to handle both, along with large groups and weekend minimum stays, and work for an owner who isn’t there.
